Pastor Phil Clark began with St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Isle of Palms, SC on February 1, 2018.  He originates from Indianapolis, IN.  He studied at Hanover College in Indiana. He earned his Masters of Divinity degree at the Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in Columbia, SC. 

Pastor Phil also served as a U.S. Navy Chaplain for 20 years and during his 32-year-ministry has earned seven units of Clinical Pastoral Education and is training in Spiritual Direction currently.  He is interested in and feels called to lead the "family of God at St. Mark's" to grow spiritually through prayer, Bible study and committing to listening to God guiding the congregation forward. 

St. Mark's is very happy to have Pastor Clark and his wife, Jill Clark, as the newest part of our church family!
